Mrs. Anderson's Blog
Blue Team- Communication ArtsAudio books
Thanks to Mr. Davis, I was allowed to get a subscription for Audible.com this year, and I am very excited to have books that the kids may listen to while reading the book!!!!!!!!! I have 2 iPads and an iPod on which the books are loaded; Mrs. Staley has 4 iPod nanos that I can check out as well. Four out of the five survival books that are read in the 2nd quarter can be listened to also. (I keep checking for the fifth book; I haven’t given up!) Several of the fantasy books that we’ll be reading in the 4th quarter are also available.
In addition to books that will be read in class I have several Mark Twain and Truman Reader nominated books. Other phenomenal books that I have read are also available. I have a list by my door and the times the kids can sign up to read the books. The kids may sign up for any day before school at 7:45 a.m., and during recess and study hall. They may also stay after school on Tuesday until 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday until 4:30 p.m.
